South Africa's magnificent all-rounder Jacques Kallis has retired from test cricket saying: "Last day of Test cricket for me. I have so many wonderful memories and stories, thanks to my family, friends ,team mates and fans. Tough day".
This leaves a hole in the South African team that will be hard to fill.
