Pakistan painted the town red after the victory over New Zealand by 103 runs, the largest margin victory in the history of Twenty20 Internationals. Bang-Bang Abdul Razzak performed gloriously once again from both departments to ensure Pakistan’s victory in third T20 at Christchurch. Razzak plucked the rhythm of green Adam Milne and scored 19 runs off five deliveries of him, at the eleventh hour of Pakistan inning. Then Razzak’s three wickets for 13 runs in four overs was that bang-up job, which gave not only victory to Pakistan, but he illuminated Pakistan cricket by world record.
New Zealand bating department had collapsed in first five overs, in reply of Pakistan mountainous 183, Shahid Afridi and Abdul Razzak were the responsible for this disaster, in which top four Kiwis missed their wickets with no score. It was only Styris who found his feet and scored 45 runs to gave some hope to his team, but his all fellows passed the buck, as a result, Kiwis were all out on 80 runs. Afridi got four and star of the match, Razzak claimed three wickets.
Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat, openers Muhammad Hafeez and Ahmed Shehzad trounced the opposition by aggressive 81runs stand. Ahmed Shehzad scored marvelous 54 runs with 10 wonderful boundaries, whereas Hafeez inflicted Kiwis by quick 34.
Umar Akmal made decent 30 to propel his opening pair’s momentum, Shahid Afridi demoted himself to his pervious Number.6 position but once again he disheartened the spectators and bowled out by Southee on 14. But Abdul Razzaq took the charge for desperate action. Razzak, at the drop of a hat, boosted Pakistan total with stormy hitting and crushed the Kiwi’s bowling department by unbeaten 34 on 11deliveries, to retain historical victory for Pakistan.
