Pakistani batsmen were rattled by the pace and line of Tim Southee, whose five wickets haul including amazing hat-trick sealed the comprehensive victory for New Zealand, in opening Twenty20 of three matches series at Auckland. Southee has decorated his career as a second bowler from Kiwis and third from rest of the world, who ruined opponents by hat-trick in Twenty20.

After Southee’s vigorous bowling show, Martin Guptill mesmerized Pakistani bowler by catastrophic half century. His superb 54 runs was the reason after Southee’s devastation, Kiwis now riches from rags.

New Zealand won the toss and selected to field in opening battle today, Pakistan started very well and they have scored fifty runs in just under five overs. Skipper Shahid Afridi opened the inning with his typical aggressive fashion, he made 20 runs on 12 deliveries with two towering sixes. Muhammad Hafeez also warned Kiwis for devastation during his quick 24 with cracking four boundaries. But later, with the blink of an eye, Southee changed things with his brutal spell of five wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs.
