State of Cricket in New Zealand
Just wandering if there are any Kiwis here who can describe the state of Cricket in New Zealand? Is it the number one sport, or something that people aren't interested in, or something in between?

Major, are you trying to be cruel to our neighbours? I reckon that per Capita NZ are one of the top sporting countries in the world...Rugby Union they have led the world for many years,Rugby League they are the equally second best in the world,Womens Netball, just behind(only)Australia who are No1...Cycling they have many world class riders who quite often beat their Aussie counterparts,...distant running, equally as good as we are, male & female.....Mens Basketball...they are our equal in this sport ...I think you are being a bit unfair to the Kiwis Major.....Look at India about 1 billion population and apart from Cricket & Hockey are totally useless at sport.
