i agree that he is a selfish cricketer. its fine when he gets his own way and wins but when he doesnt he can get very nasty. he is selfish in all areas of the game

yes he is one of the most selfish players of the cricket. he only plays for himself and his voice is only heard when he is in Australia, otherwise he is a coward

Punter has redeemed himself. Having recently been slaughtered by the South African's Australia has done the hard work, travelled to South Africa and defeated them on their home turf. I think this and the regaining of the ashes after horrible defeat by England in 2005 shows Punter knows how to turn around an ailing team. :D

Yeah, but how long can he keep doing that? I mean all of his squad mates from the 1999 World Cup squad have retired from cricket and he's under constant criticism from the Australian Cricket Board. More criticism than he's ever been under before. I think he needs to permanently hand over the captaincy to any one of the two Michaels (Clarke/Hussey) and concentrate on his batting, fitness and fielding.
