Here is one for the coaches...
Why do coaches tell young players the right way to bat and bowl , why not let the player play his natural game the way he feel is right, so what if it look wrong if the player scores runs or get wickets who cares

My attitude is that coaching has several important roles. Number 1 is to start a player heading in the right direction, so that he/she doesn't develop any bad habits that require hard work to break. Number 2 is to help them solve any problems they might be having like getting out the same way everytime. In the scenario you described with a batsman/woman getting runs and doing OK the only role for a coach is to maybe help them do even better. Throw in a new idea or two, see what works etc...

I'm not a coach by the way. :twisted:
