KEVIN Pietersen is facing possible disciplinary action after revealing being dropped by England on Twitter and describing it as a "f--- up".
Last night Geoff Miller, the national selector, expressed strong distaste at the language used and Hugh Morris, the managing director of the England team, will investigate the circumstances of the message.
Pietersen revealed his fate roughly four hours before the squad was due to be named for the two Twenty20 and five one-day internationals against Pakistan starting on Sunday. He also embarrassed Surrey by saying that he would be joining the county.
At that point it was not clear that the signing from Hampshire was a loan for the rest of the season; Pietersen is due to make his first appearance in the Clydesdale Bank 40 game against Worcestershire at the Brit Insurance Oval this afternoon.
A forum for fans of England.
