Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann are putting on a magnificent batting performance at the moment and will have the top scores in both innings on the England batting card. I have three thoughts on the matter.
1/. This is good for England. Rather than going in to the fifth test totally demoralised, they now know they can step up to the plate.
2/. Stuart Clark will not be making an appearance in the final test, he will be replaced by Hauritz.
3/. Ponting should have asked for the extra half hour yesterday. When you're on a roll, you're on a roll and Australia had momentum yesterday, today they have none.

I saw Stuart Clark play not long ago at the MCG and he had a bit of fun with the crowd and I think he's one of the characters of the Australian side.
