Bengali Tigers once again demoralized Zimbabwe, on fifth and final ODI at Chittagong. Firstly thwart bowling skills and then dominant bating performances gave gigantic victory to Bangladesh. After cancellation of fourth ODI due to bad weather, Bangladesh was already leading the series by 2-1, that was the reason Zimbabwe started this morning with winning hopes to avoid series dispersal.

Zimbabwe won the toss and decided to bat first, Bangladesh’s bowlers knowing the ropes, treats visitors by their thwart bowling and mesmerized their fightback hopes. Zimbabwe starts their losing wickets from the very first over till Ervine and Taibu’s resistance. These two Zimbabwean blessed their team in disguise by 95 runs partnership at the eleventh hour, but this progress occurs very late, rest of their fellows had left the battle without doing something. Despite Taibu scored wonderful 64 runs in tense, Bangladesh ruled over visitors by vigorous bowling and restricted them on 188/6. Musharafe Murtuza got 2 wickets for 25 runs in eight overs whereas skipper Shakib claimed three wickets.

It was an easy chase for in-form Bangladesh. Tamim Iqbal and Junaid Siddiqui produced 136 runs for second wicket partnership to beat a dead horse. Tamim’s 95 runs and half century of Junaid devastated visitors and gave memorable series victory to their team.
